LARGE FORMAT PRINT PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
An exciting opportunity to join a company who are expanding & relocating to larger premises in Tamworth.
We are looking to recruit an experienced production assistant in our print department.
Main Purpose of Role
To assist the Production Manager with all aspects of printing, mounting & finishing ensuring products are completed to the highest standards and despatched in good time.
Key Duties
Duties include the running of large format digital printers, laminating machines for mounting & sealing, & vinyl cut graphics production.
Work flow to include large paper mounted prints, banners, canvas, vinyl graphics for exhibition & retail displays. Finishing techniques required for laminating and mounting, hemming & eyeleting banners and laying/fitting vinyl graphics.
Essential Experience
Knowledge of solvent based large format printers, large format laminators. Computer literate, an understanding of good customer service & a positive can-do attitude. An eye for detail is essential as is taking pride in your work.
Desirable Experience
Literate in the main software packages Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, InDesign, Quark as well as using Rip software for the printers
